  17. I think tattoos on a woman are disfiguring, no matter how beautiful and artistic. If I'd been seriously in the Army instead of just the reserve, I'd probably have an Army tattoo but that's it.

  32. Reminds me of the stupid Glaswegian stoker on leave in Yokohama who wanted a full back tatt. Found his way thoroughly inebriated to a parlour and drew a picture of a multi colour Scottish thistle and a glorious banner. The monolingual artist said 'hai, hai' and went to work. Next day he was sober and sore, the only one in the fleet with a big pineapple from shoulder to waist with 'Scotland the Brave' scrolled across it.
