And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

It's cold out there! Time for something like this.
Well, it's currently -18C (O degrees F) in Ottawa right now and headed for -24C! That's pretty cold even for here in the first week of December!!! Steve_in_Ottawa
I knew there had to be at least one Campbell's Soup comment! What a way to destroy a 156 year old company, announce that it''s food for poor people and unfit to eat.
My wife is making something quite like that this evening. Yum.

ReplyDeleteNo more Campbells, that's for sure. But the absolute best combo - Grilled cheese and Tomato soup. Some great tomato-basil soups out there.

DeleteAte a Campbells soup recently after not having it for several years. The sugar content ruined it for me. It was way over the top and unpalatable.
DeleteI tried a can of Campbell's condensed tomato soup a couple of years back, it was so sweet I threw most of it away.
