Ive carried a Spiderco Delica half smooth half serrated blade, for about 20 years,
I use it a dozen times a day, and I get about a year out of it, and then the blade is so ruined from me using it as a screwdriver and crowbar etc that it cant be sharpened anymore and I buy a new one.
well, my kids gets me a new one every year for Christmas.
that and the Nitecore P-10 flashilght, are always in my pocket. as a mobile mechanic I cant live without them.
