And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I've been a guy who carries a pocket knife forever. However, after my son began carrying a pocket flashlight, I found one on sale, bought it, and I find that thing to be at least as handy as my knife. Use it all the time.
I hear ya! My son did the same to me. Problem is I pocket carry a revolver, so between keys, light, knife and sometimes phone, I have to tighten the belt another notch...
Like the OTF knife, mines broke, the trigger mechanism gave up the ghost, have a regular Buck folder, which flicks as fast as a spring actuated. I don't know, what comes out of my pockets and holster don't look as new as above, sure has a lot of wear, dings and worn spots.
The only pistol I own that I actually hate is a Kahr. The sights are terrible, the trigger pull is measured in feet, and it has a nasty trigger bite on the rebound. The photo reminds me I should take it down to the shop and consign it. There are so many great pistols today in the micro form factor. My favorite pocketable is my SIG 938.
Is that a Khar?
ReplyDeleteYes.
