And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Boo
Significant number of trick or treaters tonight. Moving more back to normal in Free California.
Here close to Madera Ca, we have had 3 groups of trick or treaters this year, which is the most we have had in about 5 years. Glad to see no masks, except for halloween type, on anyone either.
Southwest Littleton, Co. Between 4:45 and 7:45 pm 70 kids, toddlers to high school. Great costumes and only Halloween masks. Same with the Moms and Dads.. A fun time and very refreshing to see so many out on a chilly overcast night (around 40-45 degrees).
Kinda strange here in the outskirts of north DFW area. Last year we had 3 or 4 small groups, more than we expected. This year, nada. Now I've got a big bunch of candies that I can't eat. Bummah...
This is the 15th year in a row that there were no trick or treaters. Ever since we moved to the dark, scary assed forest. No kids around here that I have ever seen. Suits me fine.
