  1. yeah, and everyday would end up being a 2-3 hour "drive-about"!

  2. It's a shame that the US doesn't have multiple small car companies like Europe since the big 3 eliminated them in the 60s by government regulations.

  3. My boss commuted in a Jag...you'd hear the Jag, and then the blip of a siren as the cops pulled him over. He said it was almost worth paying the tickets to drive to work. He went on vacation for two weeks and a cop stopped by to see if he was OK. that was LA in the sixties.

    1. It's a Tipo 33 Stradale, the intakes are between the door and the rear wheel. Better pics can be found here.

    2. The exhaust problem is much bigger. How does it exhale?

  5. The Alpha has a beautiful shape. But I'd take the Jag.

    1. OK, I'll have that Alpha. That one looks especially well restored.

  6. If I could own a car like that, I wouldn't need to commute

  7. I’d deliver DoorDash in it 24/7 and still couldn’t afford the first payment.

  8. The XKE always works for me. Just one concern with this one...is that the license plate number painted on the hood?

  9. Daytona Cobra Coupe with pin drive Halibrands, Series One Jag, 3.8 litre and Lucas electrics, Alfa Romeo Stradale, flat plane crank and an intake honk to make one weep.

  11. I never understood the rationale for putting the engine inside the passenger compartment.
Unless you want to spend your golden years saying "WHAT?" a lot.
