  1. This looks like it could be anywhere in Northern Ontario or Quebec during the moose season. I'm pretty sure I've seen that kettle off to the left before...I had one just like it. Just plain nice.....Steve_in_Ottawa

  2. hunting near jordan, montana, we had a dutch oven full of elk stew setting in the coals warming for lunch- what memories. pine pitch and sage-scented air, deer&antelope tags filled, and a meal you'd fight over. we popped a few sharptail grouse on the way back and had them with eggs&etc for breakfast the next day.

    1. Yer killin' me here Anon. The only things missing are the scent of Hoppe's No. 9, Montana Pitch for your boots, stove oil, wet socks and maybe a whiff of Laphroaig Quarter Cask, which many of the great unwashed think smells like wet socks anyway! Steve_in_Ottawa
