Absinthe wash into the glass

The Vieux Nouveau Sazerac
1 ounce cognac or brandy
1 ounce rye whiskey
Teaspoon of absinthe
2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
1/4 to 1/2 ounce simple syrup
Or
The Rye Sazerac
2 ounces rye whiskey
Teaspoon of absinthe
2-3 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
¼ to ½ ounce simple syrup
Had one once. Only cocktail that ever made me heave. No thanks never again.
