.5 oz Cognac

1.5 oz Rye

.25 oz SS

3 dashes Peychauds bitters 

1 dash Angostura

Absinthe wash into the glass

1 ounce cognac or brandy

1 ounce rye whiskey

Teaspoon of absinthe

2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters

1/4 to 1/2 ounce simple syrup

The Rye Sazerac


2 ounces rye whiskey

Teaspoon of absinthe

2-3 dashes Peychaud’s bitters

¼ to ½ ounce simple syrup
