And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It comes every year whether we like it or not. For those of you in the southern half of the states the above picture doesn't pertain to you. For those of us in the northern half or in higher elevations, it's 2-6 months of a shoveling, ice scraping, everything is frozen, dead battery, snow plowing, finger numbing time when you really feel alive. Okay, old and cold don't go well together I know that now. Looking for a warmer climate soon.
