And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Cheese Cake for my 70th last night - 3 pieces... could barely finish them!!! Home made bread, fresh out of the bread machine, 2 bowls of freshly made 7hr Beef stew, smoked beef, mushroom sauce, potatoes, veggies, the whole house had that wonderful smell I savored as a kid on the farm. The only thing missing was the Scalloped Potatoes with ham. God has been very good to me!
