    2. If as many French were actually in the Resistance as claimed to be afterwards, D Day would have been unnecessary. France is also the only nation whose soldiers and airmen killed Americans and were rewarded for it.

  2. That's interesting. The Monitor and the Merrimack in the US Civil War were made of wrought iron, not steel.
