And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
'Florida Wildlife' was a great magazine. Still have a few old copies, wish more states would publish this sort of thing. Alabama shut down its magazine a few years ago. South Carolina still publishes and is worth reading.
I'm a draftsman and I love the hand printed text... it's very easy to read. I learned to draft w/ a pencil, and copying text like this was my practice pad for a few weeks. On this example at least, it looks like Mr. Hughes did not use guidelines at all for his text, just freehand. Marvelous!
