And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
One of the guys in my freshmen dorm did that with a goose, and was arrested. If only he hadn't been blackout drunk and hadn't killed the goose with his bare hands while standing in the pond in front of the alumni house on campus...
We do have a legitimate Ag School at Cornell where such things used to be taught, as well as a School of Applied Economics and Management. You can find that a lot of the Liberal/Marxist/anti-US element study Philosophy and History at the College of Arts & Sciences, some in the Art portion in the AAP School, and a huge majority at Cornell Law School.
During my freshman year in the dorms, a buddy down the hall decided that he needed to rebuild the engine to his truck in his spare time. So he got all the things into his room.....engine, engine stand, tools, everything....and started tearing down this engine. And did I mention that we were up on the third floor? He had a roommate too, who was kinda in on the whole shenanigans.
The RA found out about it and had him get rid of that crap and act like he was in college.
“Processing wild/game animals in community kitchens is strictly prohibited” — was introduced months after a September 2025 incident in which two Cornell students skinned and butchered a legally hunted black bear in the shared kitchen of Ganędagǫ: Hall KOTA Radio+1. The bear was killed in New York’s early firearms bear season, and both hunters had valid licenses. The students had planned to process the meat at a friend’s home but brought it to the dorm kitchen when that option failed
Why have kitchens if the kids can't butcher legally taken game? And apparently some rednecks do attend Cornell. At one time I took my daughter's jumping horses to the vet school to try and diagnose leg problems. They had all the equipment in the world but couldnt figure anything out. I ended up in NJ with the vet from the USA equestrian team. He was smarter and cheaper.
One time the cafeteria at college was serving what they called "Pot Roast". I sat down with some buddies and tried it and it was clearly white tail deer. The guys I was with didn't believe me until another guy showed up who was also a hunter and said the same thing.
This is a bit farfetched.
