And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I've been told farming is boring as shit. Gotta make life interesting in little ways to compensate. Seeing Amish teens drifting in the horse & buggy was also a good one.
If that's Laura, she's about as genuine and truly nice as you can get. And a total hoot. No filter, just life on the farm; and her husband is no slouch either. At 25, they're running a huge corn and bean operation in central Nebraska; literally millions in invested capital. Fourth or fifth generation farmers. I've got cousins out there in the next county; these are good people.
