And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
A friend that worked on helicopters said they are a collection of parts flying in loose formation that would always transport you to the site of the crash.
The Jesus nut is in there---someplace. MGen Bruno Hochmuth, CG 3rd MarDiv was killed in RVN while being transported in a chopper. He was a damn' fine Marine.
As was Big Red One(1st infantry division) Major General Keith Ware (Medal of Honor recipient and one of few to receive rank of general from a start of draftee). Killed in copter with his staff during recon mission in September of 68. I arrived at Fort Riley in December of 69'when the First was crash filling units to Vietnam for their big push. I lucked out by finding my own job with headquarters co. G2 as artist/Illustrator and ended up being the Generals ( Robert Linville) jump cp track driver in the country's first cold war games (Reforger) in Germany. Ended my short army career by being honored to paint General Linvill's official portrait for his retirement in 1970. Weird and crazy times! Bubbarust

And it all has to work smoothly while spinning at high speed. The modern helicopter is a machine that tries to operate in defiance of Murphy's Law.
