  1. Yeah that. Grew up through the tech evolution, from AM and 45's to now, somewhere along that path got pretty fed up with the constant obsolescence, plus after the incredible music artistry from 50's to 80's scenes, one has to find their kind of comfort zone and stick with it, so to say that is. Do many genres, so many unique musical and literary talent, an incredible period in history. And you can tell how good the music is by how well certain pieces and music stays fresh especially half or more a century. So much to revisit and rediscover, you could spend a decade and not put much of a dent in the list of great stuff.

  2. I wonder what hidden gems we'll never find because pieces never made the technology transfers. Movie production companies burned old film stocks in the early 20ths cause they needed room, and the BBC has delet'd episodes of early Dr. Who, never to be found again. Makes you wonder how long those old Beatles/Stones master recordings will last in record company vaults. Makes you wonder how long those same record companies will last. How long can the tech even last?
