  5. Czech built Aero L-39 Albatross. A fully aerobatic trainer that every communist airforce used, now it's a relatively inexpensive jet if you want something with ejector seats.

  6. I think that women should be raised to stay home and be what God intended…Wives and Mothers…leave defending the nation to the men folk.
Just the opinion of a man with an almost complete lifetime of working to be what He intended for me.
Urging everyone to work towards becoming what God intends for each of us. No one knows how much time we have left on this earth until we have none left.
Just the rambling thought of an older man with a lifetime of thoughts that he needs to share while still here.
May He continue to bless us all.

    1. Maybe I'm an old man too. Married to the same woman 47 years, she worked until the 1st of 8 kids came along, then stayed home and home schooled them all. Very proud of every one of them, Civil Air Patrol, 2 in the USAF, the girls like 'em USAF men too!

Wifey always wanted a little Farmette, big truck, tractor, some space - with God's help, we got that too! As my health was failing, she stayed with me, when most modern day women would've moved on. Last Saturday, she did her AWA shooting thing, came home with nice groupings on paper, smiling & laughing. We do everything together, hunt, fish, shoot, and just have a grand time playing together, or sitting around chatting.

God has been very, very good to us - giving us salvation, and such a happy time together.

  7. I met. the Lord as an F/A-18 Navy test pilot; got the gospel in a SCIF in a blasted desert. God changed my life so much that the other pilots thought I lost my mind. There are many ways and places to meet God. Wife and mother came later as did staying home with kids. I don't know how women can deploy and leave kids at home, as it would rip my guts out leaving them even for the day.

There are many who stay home and raise a family, go to church, and never really meet God. Others meet Him on the battle field. That is up to God, and you cannot put Him in a box.

  8. I clearly heard God's voice on my solo flight in a Cessna 150. Got the bird in the air and said, "Lord don't forget me." As clear as can be I heard "Jim, I never forgot YOU." Yes, I was the guilty one. I was the one who forgot God. Perfect flight. I'll never forget that.
