  1. I think the problem of "Splat" against the stone cliffs reduces the interest for surfing in Cornwall.

    1. Depends where you are in Cornwall, some of the finest surfing beaches in the world to be found there.

  2. Ah, Cornwall. Known for mining and piracy. An ancestor came to the US to be a mine captain, so probably did a lot of mining back in the old country and not so much piracy.

      Most of Cornwall was originally a cargo cult, who lived off the leftovers washed up from shipwrecks on the rocky coats, until they switched to smuggling and piracy to save time and lock in guaranteed income.
