  1. Back in the 1960s I saw them occasionally. Most recent was at the Chino airshow in, I think, 2016. A private bird, just out of a restoration, flown up from San Diego County. He made a perfect hover taxi along the runway then the taxiways. It was very cool to see.

  2. The ignorant turds in the Pentagon got rid of all dual rotor aircraft in favor of the deadly "Osprey"...

    I guess that Army Special Ops still uses the UH-47 but since 2020, they stopped purchasing any more.
