And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I walked up on a sleeping fox and when I said "hi", it jumped a foot in the air, pivoted before it hit the ground and was just a blur as it went into it's den in the road bank. Saw the fox and its cubs later at a distance but never got that close again.

ReplyDeletecoyotes killed most of em around here. one shows up on the trail cams every once in awhile.
