    2. Neither the sights nor the rifle are the alumni, the users of such are, so no, your Latin grammar lesson is wrong, and the plural form referring to the larger mixed-sex group of students/graduates of the iron-sight school is correct.
      Nice try.

      And alumnae would refer to an all-female group of graduates.
      Possible, but generally implausible.

  5. I can still see in my "old Age"so I still use them!!!
    Scopes are OK for "Picky Targets" or just shooting for fun!! but ya gotta' take the time to "Fine tune them" and one bump and back to the sight in bench!!!!!! Know what I mean???
    For those who in "Dot.Mil" that have to "Reach out and touch someone!!!" Keep up the good work Troops!!!!

  8. Have a few optics some are really nice but at 52 years old I just started using them since I was almost 50. Still want to be able to co-witness. Scopes break or batteries die
