The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? I don't know, you look at my everyday carry, anodize worn off the light, my knife is a grung commercial, ben sharpened 1/4 of the blade is gone, wedding band has an extra solder join cause i had to cut it off with dikes, and my Springfield XDe .45 is holster worn past the melonite coating.
This was me about 2 years ago...sans the punch tool. I have the same S&W and Streamlight and almost the same Timex. My knife is a Benchmade Redoubt though...and a latex wedding ring. Whoever's EDC setup this is has class :)
