Jag - U - Arrr.

  1. I had one of those. Got it running, put a headliner in it, refinished the wood and drove it for a while. Great handling. But it needed a complete interior, more than I could afford at the time. It's one of the three cars I'd most like to have. The others being a '53 Studebaker Commander and a 2005 Ford GT.

  3. Grew up with a family had a shop specializing in tuning jags. Particularly doing syncro work on the carburetors on those engines.

  5. Police Constable Morse daily driver (in black), DCI Morse daily driver (in red) - good British series, nice car (and they started in every scene they were used!)

    1. They may have started, but the transmissions were shite. Despite having more than one for Inspector Morse, there were some scenes in which they had to have a winch pull it out from the curb, with cable hidden by careful camera angles.

  6. When we lived in Japan in 1959, my father ordered a 4-door Jag 4.2 sedan from England and had it delivered to us.
