And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
This weekly feature is one of the best things on the entire internet. I regret that I haven't praised it and thanked you previously. It's amazing how something so simple can be so uplifting and moving at the same time. Thanks.
Open Road always anticipated and appreciated. I have done some traveling and enjoy the pics with doggies. Fridays always spark good memories in times of turmoil. Danke Schoen.
And another stunning "Open Road" photo essay - Thank you!!!
The beautiful young lady in the red sports car has a rather large diamond ring on her left hand that makes her look like she's a very "well attended" lady.
i very much appreciate the pics.i look forward to them every week. but i would appreciate and be most thankful for some captions as to where. there are still some places i have not gone yet and time is running short for me.
Nearly all of them are not labelled where I find them, and unfortunately I don't have the time to hunt up and ID all the locations. You could always google picture search any that appeal to you, as some here do, and hopefully find out more.
Google Lens is where I start when I'd like to know where a place is. FWIW I either want to see if it's where I think it is (did I see that??) or put it on my list in case I'm ever close in my travels.
Maybe someone can explain to me how it could possibly come out well for that Porsche. It seems like a photo of the Challenger Space Shuttle just before launch.
My favorite is the one with the dog.
ReplyDeleteDogs are beginning to think you're a caninophile.
DeleteBridges and girls, another great collection!

ReplyDelete#18 Wedding ring says back off. Her expression says go away.
ReplyDelete#18 gave me a fleeting moment of meeting such a gal - then the saving reality of experience kicked in.
DeleteThe Porsche driver needs a horsewhipping, and I don't really care for Porsches.
ReplyDeleteAlong with North American aircraft, featured Porches are a weekly highlight. As an unfilled Pohshuh fan, I whole heartedly agree on the horsewhipping.

Pic 3 pushes all my buttons. Y'all can have all the high maintenance cars/trucks and gals to yourselves.
ReplyDeleteI do love the old Land Rovers but dang they are still expensive.
ReplyDeleteLots of ladies today, and a great essay
ReplyDeleteNo Friday for me, work again tomorrow.
