And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
If Imternational would have hired a better CEO and fixed the parts availability problems, they'd still be in business today. Fairly boggles the mind that there trucks weren't as successful as there tractors and other farm equipment. My dad owned two Travelalls; a 1956(?) and a 1967. Really utilitarian and very dependable! Loved them both and miss them!
Had an IH PU from the 60s but never an SUV. Truck was solid as hell and took a lot of punishment given the construction sites I worked. Later I purchased GM products that had better/more varied choices. Still have a Chevy 2002 PU I bought new but my SUV is a 2020 Hyundai (never thought I'd do that).
I owned a '66 Scout for a few years before going overseas. It had a 4-cylinder with a 4 -speed tranny and hi-low 4-wheel drive. That sucker would go through anything. Only deep mud would slow it down.
Those old corn binders were unstoppable. Very utilitarian, but the last few years really nice.
