  1. Guess they take guarding all that Nazi gold and triangle chocolate seriously.

  2. I wonder if even one single Swiss Air Force plane ever fired a shot in anger.

  3. There used to be a story, I don't know if it is apocryphal, that Swiss fighters could never fly in a straight line for more than 4 minutes or they would be outside their territorial airspace.

  4. I see black soot. So, they must have done some practice shooting.

  5. Is the Swiss Airforce as large as the Swiss Navy?

    1. Actually, their AF is top notch. As for the army, you are on reserve status for 30 yrs. from 18 to 48. Every house is well armed.

  6. Flew in out of the Zurich airport a few times as a passenger. There are these cumulogranite cloud formations. Good spot for high speed mid air collision with planet Earth.

  8. I count 12 rockets on that jet. 10 with white tips and 2 with black.

    1. The missiles with black noses mounted on the wingtips are AIM9. The other 10 are the AIM120s.

  10. How many has anyone burned off in one mission? Hits?

  11. We are looking at the bottom of the aircraft and the ground below, beyond it, as it appears to be in a vertical dive. No visible thermal signature from the tailcones? Diving with full armament on board?
One would think it would have the heat turned on anticipating a pullout at this point.

Or is this the dreaded AI?
