  1. That’s pathetic. And pkanned; recall all the bs they pulled against their own farmers. I am so tired of the suicidal self hatred of the whole West. You are the shining light of civilization. Grow a pair already.

  2. A bunch of inexperienced, well-meaning libtard get an idea in their heads that will be revolutionary and meaningful. They then make a new rule or law and after it goes into effect and then turns out to be a dismal failure, the libtards scream and shout, "What have we done?" It happens all of the time.

  3. When Snowmageddon hit Texas (2021?) and everything froze, my S.I.L. was despairing in one of our big cities around the DFW Metroplex. His power was off, everything frozen, etc. 'Failed State', he sez. Whenever we visit, the pantry is always empty.

We have, in our pantry, enough food on the shelf and in the freezer for at least 2 months. Always.

    1. How long will it last in the freezer when the power fails?

    2. Diesel truck burns a gallon of fuel idling every hour and 40 minutes and has a 2k onboard inverter. I have an external 4k inverter that powers 2 refrigerators, TV, computer, and 2 fans. I did that for a week. I decided that was not enough and now have a generator sitting outside that can power the house. I live in the state that has the second largest agricultural production in the nation and I am in the county that has the highest agricultural production in the state. I am not worried about how much food I keep on hand. I live where it is produced.

    4. Anon 2:04....Anyone that preps that well will always have backup power sources to save their refrigerated foods. Backup gens/gas/propane, solar battery/inverters, biomass stoves, bullets, beans, water, med supplies etc. And your question supposes that it's hot outside. Thanks for trolling.

    5. Tsquared- Idling a diesel for long periods of time is hard on them. They don't get the upper end lubrication that keeps them happy.
      Just my two cents.
