And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
There are several of those American Airlines Flagship DC-3. Most were not American Airlines planes originally. They are all named Flagship CITYNAME. There is one in a Fort Worth museum that smells really bad because in a previous life it was used to fly fertilizer around.

DeleteI may have flown on one when Allegheny Air used them. I also flew on the old Convairs they had. We used to call it "Agony Air"
DeleteIf I am not mistaken, back in Vietnam, that airship was outfitted with mini-guns, and we called it "Puff the Magic Dragon."
