And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I was told to move some things with a forklift at one of my first jobs. It was a summer job, and I was 17. I hopped on and started to the warehouse with a pile of duct work. No weight, just bulk. I came to a corner and raised up to make sure it was clear. That's when I found out that the brakes on an electric forklift are tied to the seat. I put everything back on the forks and continued on. I didn't hear the words "forklift certified" until many years later.
