And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
That stuff is just a part of my life. The cardboard reel finally emptied after twenty years. Just ordered a thousand foot replacement. Should still be some on it when I'm gone. It's Supposed to be good for 500 pounds. No Way am I going to use one length to hoist my 390 pound bike. Ratchet straps are great for Real loads,but if you're using the skinny straps from Harbor Freight you'd be ahead to learn how to Tie a load down. The bowline is a great knot. The Easy way is throw a slipknot, stab the tag end through the loop, double it back on itself and pull the slipknot. It makes a bowline. If you go over the loop and back through, it's an inside bowline.
I keep a roll of it in my backpack (which is my "go bag") all the time.
