I know a guy that had 3 containers flown to the side of a mountain in Colorado. It takes him 90 minutes on a 4 wheeler to get to his truck on the other side of the mountain for a 40 minute drive to the closest town. He is totally off the grid.

Mischabeljochbiwak SAC 3855 m This elevated shelter, high above Saas-Fee and Täsch, is an extraordinary stopover for mountaineers doing the south ridge of Täschhorn or other traverses in the Mischabel range. Except for the Solvay emergency shelter on the Matterhorn this cabin is the highest SAC cabin. Considering its location and the size it is one of the more comfortable ones. The view reaches from Po Valley on the one side, to the Matterhorn and Weisshorn on the other.
Actually, looking at the surrounding area, snow weight may not be a major problem, . . . it might be the wind, . . . . it must just howl up there! [So, they stay overnight? Can trying to sleep be imagined ?! ]
