And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Probably perfectly good for small jobs, and quieter than a gas saw.
I'm better there are very few if any electric/battery-powered tools working to clean up the mess in OK, NE, etc. this morning. Or at least they won't be running for long.
I too have the 60v, 16” model. With a 9AH battery. It’s tool less, cuts ~45 minutes bucking red oak on a single charge, it’s smooth, quiet, and powerful. I love this thing.
I love mine. Best use I have seen is my buddy who puts one in the hands of his 14 y/o on top of the fifth wheel as they back into their camping spot. Junior trims the branches before they can scratch the camper.
Being a smoker (Water world) I prefer the noise.
ReplyDeleteI have one of those. It is excellent. And it always starts.
ReplyDeleteI have one also
ReplyDeletegreat saw !
my Stihl's are gathering dust
I find myself reaching for the dewalt more than I use the Stihl. Always in the truck when offroading.

ReplyDeletehave a stihl in frequent use but I use a dewalt battery reciprocating saw more to trim branches etc before and after felling.
ReplyDeleteand this- i'm 70+ years old, work alone and I feel the dewalt is the safer option. and quieter.
These have their place. I have the 60 volt model with a 16” bar. It is handy for fencing. With a fresh, hot battery, it will make several cuts.
ReplyDeleteMine works great.
ReplyDeleteHave one. Works great. I can have small stuff cut with this DeWalt before I'd be able to get my Husqvarna 435 started.
