And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
back then they cast the year of the car into the tail light lens. you could identify the tear if you got close enough, but you tripped the trigger of insecure people.
1967 Galaxie. In 1968 the reverse light was changed to a horizontal bar separating the top and bottom red lights. My first car was a '68 XL 500 with the 428 Police Interceptor package. Al_in_Ottawa
Look at the top edge of the trunk lid. The trunk lid is not fitted correctly, it's too high. Assuming there is no old accident damage to the rear quarter, adjusting the hinges and/or latch will bring the lid into alignment. Al_in_Ottawa

Yeah, horrible gaps on the trunk.
ReplyDeletegosh, now that i know that about the trunk gap, i wouldn't even consider this p.o.s. for my own.
ReplyDeleteIf you look at the paint, the chrome, the trim, it's obvious the car has been restored so there's no excuse for the gaps on the trunk to be that bad.
