Barnyard Treasure?

  1. Challenger, probably 70 or 71. The originals were only made 70-74, same with the E body Plymouth Barracuda's. There were both scare classics until Dodge brought back the Challenger with almost the same styling in more recent times and the long production run took place. There are so many more recent versions around in running condition that there is less demand for a boneyard classic that needs a full restoration.

  2. Dodge building a retro Challenger may take a bit of lustre from the originals. Why bother with an original when an arguably refined version is available. Save the originals for collectors.

  3. Snatch it up, father/son and/or daughter project. Hell cat for power and a 6 speed for row your own fun. Price? About the same as a hellcat, but not one you will see every where you go.

Just about everything is available reproduction that this car may be missing.

Check out lateral g or pro touring.com and see what can be accomplished with deep pockets, mad crazy skills or a combination of the 2.
