  2. Once they got that straightened-out a .30 cal on a pivot-mount with protection for the radiator and the two 'combatants' would've brightened-up those generals eyes!

    1. That's a 1920s pre-Jeep, not a combat vehicle.
The armored vehicle is that large dark olive Mk V-ish looking monster behind the assembled brassholes, most still enamored of horse-mounted cavalry.

  4. I'm thinking that the wood wheel spokes would not be happy with the side load that system would generate while skid turning. Even brake turning might be too much for them.

  5. Very cool photo. Any idea where it was taken? An old vs new with the bridge would be interesting.

  7. Thanks to the DoD's streamlined acquisition system, the new M1 Light Tracked Reconnaissance Vehicle will soon join the Bradley Fighting Vehicle (background) in service with forward deployed Brigade Combat Teams.

  8. Marvin Heemeyer Sr. presents his new idea for an Urban Assault Vehicle to General Pershing.

But the idea didn't really take off until his grandson added the dozer blade and demonstrated the proof of concept to the neighbors in Granby, CO.
