And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Radio Station “Nord” on the Eastern shore of the Danmark Fjord / Greenland in the 1950s.
I worked up on the Alaska Slope in the early 80's, I ran a fuel truck servicing all of the snow removal equipment. I was always driving by the US Govt Dew line Early Warning Stations, I always wanted to stop and snoop but was always too busy to stop. I regret not taking a look to this day. The govt just locked the doors and walked away. PS: One of the most beautiful animals I've seen is a artic fox, just beyond beautiful, blazing white fur with only the eyes and nose being black, simply off the scale gorgeous. :) They like ham sandwiches. :)
