Nice bow tie

  1. I don't usually tie stuff around my neck.
My first ride (61 Triumph Herald) at age 14 was a stick and most of my driving since than has been with a stick, all the way up to a 22 yard tractor dump. I firmly believe a stick forces the driver to be in tune with their vehicle. My wife doesn't drive a stick and when trying to teach her how she said it was very distracting. Funny how 2 people can live together for almost 4 decades with such differing views without killing each other. lol

    1. That's probably only because she can't use a stick.

  2. My driving the way I do with attitude- Is a running commentary of other drivers parentage with snarky remarks on their inability to drive correctly. Think lack of use of turn signals.

  4. I learned to drive in So. Cal. in the mid 60's. They hammered us with "Drive defensively!". I already knew the best defense is a good offense, so my driving style is described by Brian and HH. Works in Tennessee too.

  5. My driving has been compared with that of a Boston cab driver. Not sure if that's good or bad.

  7. My motto is "Drive like everybody else on the road is out to get you. Because in a way they are."
It worked for me. In 12 years driving commercial vehicles I had no accidents and no moving violations.
