And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Had one of those. It only needed an interior and a paint job. Had the wrong engine and an automatic. I got it running, refinished the wood and put in a headliner. There was enough leather left to sit on. I drove it for a couple of months. Amazing how that car handled. Some other poor fool has it now. A nice one of those is the only car in the world I'd rather have than a '53 Studebaker Starlig ht Coupe. Maybe.
Met a guy who has one. He said he'd had it up to 120 with four people in it.
He had a few other collectible British cars too, his shop was bigger than his house. His wife was cool with it because he had restored a bright red MG A just for her.
Beautiful Mark 2 Jaguar, from 1961.
