And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

During the recent 2018 eruption on Hawaii, this lava flow got some speed going
The telephoto lens makes the people look closer to the lava than they really are. This makes me recall that "The floor is lava" thing we played as kids.
Played as kids, haha, we still play it.
ReplyDeleteDepth of Field aside, Mr. Telephoto is smarter than the pedestrians getting a closer look, that's for sure. Really shows the boundary effects of the laminar flow regime though.
