And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
People who have never seen the Northern Lights on a really active night have no idea how mind-blowingly awesome they are and I just feel sorry for them.
The girl in #3 is on a horse & smiling, she has a beer. The girl in #6 is in a pickup and is not smiling. The girl in #5 is in the Land Rover saying "Faster Faster!" The smile is the best, it must be the beer!
In the last picture, the Mustang at the breakwater, it looks familiar, anyone know where that is?
The rhino chasing the Land-Rover? Been there, done that! It was in the Luangwa Valley Lower Game Reserve in Zambia in 1976. Dad and I (I was 19) were driving along a dedicated dirt track in a Land-Rover pick-up when we encountered a bull rhino. He was in a very bad mood, something he made apparently right away. He charged at us. Hard. Dad floored the Landie's throttle and, as we slowly gathered speed the tail of the Landie suddenly got thumped up into the air, the rear wheels actually left the ground. After that, we went a couple of miles down the track before stopping to see what had happened. There was a 9" diameter hole punched right through the tail-gate. Dad kept that bit of metal on his garage wall till the day he passed.
OMG! That shiny red Challenger at the top is just the bomb! Who owns that beautiful car!?!? :-)

If those two are considering recreating the final scene from "Thelma and Louise" then I suggest they park the pony car and get a rental.
DeleteThat first photo -- the rich man's ride -- faster than a speeding ticket, more powerful than a locomotive.
ReplyDeleteNice ride bro....
ReplyDeleteHad BIL run the plate on the first pic...
ReplyDeleteHa! That's a paper that the dealer put on it. I don't think the numbers mean anything.
DeleteHaa... all numbers mean something... best to stay situationally aware!
