And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
On one particular pour in a rural area, we came back the next day to find foot prints of various animals. One featured the widespread tracks of a small animal with the larger prints of a big cat. It looked like the chase was on! Another set was mouse tracks which ended right where a flurry of soft brushes (feathers?) and deep punctures (talons?) were near the middle of the concrete slab.
And some people say cats are assholes.
