And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Great video! Got to see the cockpit of my friend’s A10 when he was a pilot. Very crowded! I didn’t know anything about A10, but they are so heavily armored they’re like flying tanks. He wasn’t trying to brag or be cool, but calmly said it has 2 external engines “in case one of them gets blown off; it’ll still fly well.” The “bullets” are huge, about 6 inches long and an inch in diameter. They are incredibly heavy for armor-piercing, made of spent uranium. It’s an incredible machine.
A-10 is a pilots aircraft. More, it is a Warriors ride into battle. milktoasts and snowflakes need not apply. men and women of courage who enjoy a good knife fight vie for the privilege.
My friend Tod studied in England for a semester back in the '80s. One of his classes was on NATO, and the prof was talking about the A-10, and said, "...the only plane in the world that can shoot down a bridge" Another student asked, "Don't you mean Bomb?" The prof says, "No, SHOOT DOWN!"
