And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Rally's over for this guy
That's an impressive amount of energy to burn off.
How about the dumbass spectators, running out onto the course? Without looking for traffic. At least from the left. Or even for standing beside the course.
I went to a rally in Australia which looked much like that- and a car, going fiendishly fast, went off one of the curves into a ditch. Spectators did exactly the same thing as they are doing here, running across the road to go help (or see better...) and they had totally forgotten that there were other cars still racing!
They had to dive for their lives, and the oncoming drivers of course had no warning that idiots were all over the road, so they had to do some superhuman driving trying not to hit them-
We had several guys that used up all their luck, but amazingly nobody got hit!
Cheap ass car. The rear bumper flew off and the car hadn't even hit anything at that point. They should try a VW next time.
