And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Barrett semi-auto at about $11,000 & .50 Cal at about $3.50 a round is a pricy day out. But the lady in the photo is well worth it and I'm sure she'll show her appreciation later in the evening. ;)
I have to guess that it's her husband's rifle....yes, that's sexist. But she's a little thing and I've humped a Barrett (12.9 Kg + ammo). I'm not saying that she couldn't lift it, but you need some ballast to operate that rifle in the field. Note the shooting computer on top of the scope.
