And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
We fish for smelt that way in the Northwest. Usually we use a dip net. Your limit is how many gallons up the side of a 5 gallon bucket is acceptable that year. You just scooped until you've got your limit.
When I was a boy scout, decades and decades ago, we would catch smelt in the creeks running in Lake superior and it was a big fundraiser for us to have a smelt feed. indyjonesouthere
