And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
That's usually my problem. I grow them from seed and can't bear to get rid of any of the extra plants that come up. So I just plant them wherever I can find space. Works out okay. I just toss the tomatoes in bags and freeze them. In the fall I make between 8 - 10 gallons of sauce and freeze it in small containers. Needless to say, we eat a lot of spaghetti.........

I love tomatoes. And I'm with you on homemade tomato soup, especially with a hint of basil. Add a cheese sandwich using home made bread and you're right at heaven.
