And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? How science classes ought to be - filled with flames and danger!
Taking soapy bubbles filled with propane and showing that they can be lit on fire, and even passed around, is a great way to show off chemistry in a flashy, but in this instance, harmless fashion. That fire won't immediately burn you if you have a layer of soap protecting your skin and don't dilly-dally too much, but, given human nature, someone will end up lighting their clothes or hair on fire, and then the unpleasantness will start.
Hence, this exciting demonstration is not happening in the United States.
I agree with you 100%.

Fourth of July fireworks were a gold mine of explosive possibilities. Don't even ask about the time we shot a malfunctioning rocket just over the heads of the neighborhood block party, and had it explode gloriously in the bushes right next to a house. Nearly started a riot and a fire at the same time.
