And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I had a Blue Merle Aussie back in the early 90's His name was Whisky after the horse in the Villain. He would smile at you and talk to you every morning. Got ran over by a car, I unapologetically cried like a little kid. Wish he was still around.
We had Aussies for a while, best pup we ever had was one the Cowman called Buckshot. Awesome working dog til he was stolen. A friend gave me a mini Aussie pup after my Gus got hit & killed by a car. His name was Sky, for his sky blue eyes. I gave him to an army sargent at Lewis-McCord and his family, who needed him way more than I.
