And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I had one (as I think you know). Mine wasn't that fancy, no woody and no red light, but my gosh they stood up to the toughest terrain and abuse. I would love to have it again as a restoration project. Alas.
I had to look it up but I've seen this truck before. It's one of three 1954 K-140's built for the Army to help with the construction of the Minuteman missile sites in the Northern Plains. It is the only one that still exists. Ya made my day Cee Dub, that's as rare as the IH Travelall built for John Wayne he named the War Wagon.
